So the Academy Awards Nominations were announced today, and as per usual, comedies were ignored.

So…I don’t get it. WHIP IT! Is now added to my growing list of box office conundrums. Why did this picture not do well at all (in fact it basically tanked) at the box office? Oh, that’s right, the public seriously does not recognize quality fare when it is right in front of their faces. [...]
